Thurber's Patent Kaligraph was invented ca.1857 by Charles Thurber of Worcester, Massachusetts. It is a handwriting duplicator, also known as a pantograph. It was patented on June 3rd of 1857 & November 27th of 1860. Thurber's Patent Kaligraph was cast of iron and would have come with a large wood case/crate.
