The Rochester Portable Typewriter was developed ca.1923 by famed typewriter inventor Wellington Parker Kidder. It would have most likely been produced by Rochester Industries Incorporated of Rochester, New York.  The Rochester was to be the successor to the American Pocket typewriter.
