Mechanically and physically, this typewriter is exactly the same as any other Commercial Visible No.6 model. However, superficially, it has been painted white at the factory. Other than the black finish most commonly found on these machines, the company also offered them in maroon.

The white and maroon versions of the Commercial Visible No.6 typewriter share the same serial number sequence as the black ones which range between 22,000 and 26,000. The white example with the lowest know serial number is no.23,294 and the highest is no.25,984.
