The Chicago No.3 Typewriter is arguably the most interesting model from the Chicago Writing Machine Company of Chicago, Illinois. It's also my favorite. I especially love its flat top and its ribbon spools that stand angled and upright. The Chicago No.3 also has a more exposed frame which some have mistaken it to be the earlier of the two Chicago models, the other being the No.1. The No.3 was produced during the early part of the 20th century.
