The Stylotype typewriter was developed by Dr. Alfred Unger. It was marketed and produced by Stylotype Kleinschreibmaschinen GmbH which was located at Goethestraße 4 in Frankfurt, Germany. One known sales agent was E. Blum & Co of Zurich. Price for one Stylotype was 60 marks.

 

It has been reported that the Stylotype was the successor to the Pettypet.
