Marvel Junior Typewriter, a toy, was invented by Carl W. Klauminzer of Lakewood, Ohio, ca.1923. It had a faux keyboard which designated it as an index typewriter. The body was constructed of sheet metal and it was just 10" wide by 9-1/2" deep by 5" tall. Total weight was just about 3 pounds. The Marvel Junior typed uppercase and lowercase characters. Inking was by ribbon, Its original list price was $10.
