The Fortuna typewriter was produced ca.1909 by Hannoversche Apparate-Fabrik which was located at 8 Weißekreuzstraße in Hanover, Germany. Its inventor was H.F. Tolle. This compact index typewriter should not be confused with the unrelated keyboard-Fortuna typewriters which have traditional typebar print elements.
