Wanted: Fisher Typewriter
The Fisher typewriter was named after its inventor, Harvey L. Fisher of Woodstock, IL. Though it was patented in 1907, the application was filed several years prior in 1899. The typewriter was produced by the Fisher Manufacturing Company of Chicago, IL. It featured an oblique, frontstrike typebar arrangement and a standard four-row keyboard plus an additional two rows of keys for the attached tabulating mechanism.
