Wanted: Englewood Typewriter
Englewood typewriters were advertised ca.1905 by the Englewood Company of Consolidated Factories located in Chicago, IL. However, the company never actually produced any of its own typewriters. It simply rebranded versions of other manufacturers' machines. For example, the Englewood on this page was a rebranded Williams typewriter. Another example, the Englewood Jr., was a rebranded American No.8 blindwriter. The company also advertised a 3rd version but without an image and none having been found yet its appearance is unknown.
Typewriters were not the only items Englewood Company Consolidated Factories rebranded. See an Englewood variant of a Linnea sewing machine here.
