Wanted: Darling Typewriter
The Darling typewriter was patented in 1911 by Gertsch & Cie of Fleurier, Switzerland and produced by the Rymtowt-Prince & Cie of Geneva. Rymtowt-Prince also produced the Velograph. The Darling was offered with a carriage as well as a pocket version with without a carriage. Most are wrapped in orange leather but a nickel pated version is also known. The Darling was rebranded as the New American for U.S. markets which was sold by Robert Ingersoll & Co.
